hola! it's been a looong while since i've put an entry here. i have a loooong list of excuses but i'd rather not dwell on that cause today i bear GOOD news =)
well... since my readers are mostly my FB friends, so i bet you know my news =) i know i can't help smilin' =)
last saturday, we went to the doctor again and things are still going so well, i'm now 17 weeks pregnant! and my OB already told us if our little one might be a girl or a boy ( which i will not disclose yet cause i know it's still too early to be sure ), but P and i are just so happy. our hearts are full of joy and gratitude to HIM above for giving us this third chance to be parents. we saw our little one's hands and fingers --- thank God there are five fingers in each hand, the stomach, the bladder, the heart --- all in the right place, and the spine is now formed. thank God for technology!
i was really so scared to blog about this because the last ones didn't end so well. so if you're reading this, i'm still asking for your prayers to wish us to have a healthy pregnancy, delivery and baby. thank you very much to all of you who have prayed and sent all their positive thoughts. i may not be able to send back to you the same thing but i do always pray to HIM that HE bless you hundredfold more.
our little one is now very active. he/she's always showing off whenever he/she's being watched on the screen in the doctor's clinic. the third time we visited (our little one was about 13 weeks, and our doctor exclaimed, you're baby is jumping... ooohh.. i couldn't hold back the tears). now i'm on my second trimester and vomiting episodes are behind me now --- hopefully. my little one is not a fan of red meat so until now i try to minimize pork and beef (except yoshinoya's gyudon ) intake. whenever i eat --- my usual amount of servings --- i always felt like hurling. now, i love green salads, not-so-flavorful chicken, any stir-fried veggies, bitter gourd with egg, vegetable tanmen, fruits and above all fruits, watermelon!!!
i also dislike foods with strong flavors like curry, thai sauces, tomato sauced dishes... they are not friendly with my tummy.
from time to time, i'm now feeling some movement in my belly.. like there's some soft beating or butterfly flying that only lasts few seconds. but i read from the net and from my book that usually those movements --- they call quickening , can be felt from 18th to 22nd week so i'm not really sure if that's my baby letting me know that she/he's doing fine inside mommy =)
thanks for reading my post and i wish you will also have a good week ahead. God bless!
