unloading random stuffs in my mind (mostly about our phone hehe):

- i have just learned that mardi gras is literally fat tueday and this is the day before ash wednesday. what a statement to be a glutton before the lenten season.

- sudoku is not that challenging especially if you're playing it on your iphone. i tried solving some puzzles online but it was much challenging. why's that?
maybe because i'm now loving my new phone.

- so last sunday we availed this softbank's promo for iphone. no upfront money for the unit but you'd be stuck with them for 2 years and you'd be paying 1,280 per month for the phone. but the catch is - softbank's signal sucks!

- as i was scouring the internet for information that i need for my report (updates on japan's mobile telecom, healthcare and alternative energy technology), i realized i do really love research. i'm researching from home without pay!

- i can almost sing chasing pavements without looking up at the lyrics.
i am loving adele! but i think husband loves her more! (kurutin ko yan si adele e hihi).

- my father would like me to call the director of the hospital where he's having his dialysis and to tell him to attend to tatay as soon as tatay arrives in the hospital (feeling ng tatay ko president ata sha). but since he's sick - the uni-sided kind and only minds what he want - i did not reason out with him and i said yes. i love you tatay. last night he told me that he doesn't want to have any more dialysis rounds =( we'll see later. today is his next sched.

background: last monday they arrived earlier in the hospital (dialysis sched was 6:30 pm) but my tatay insisted to be hooked up to the machine as soon as they arrived - but all machines were still occupied and it's still not he's turn. i wish the hospital would buy more machines or many patients would get well soon -- i think this is way much better wish.

- yesterday i checked my phone bill and it was 85K yen. WTF!?! i could not ask the machine on the other end because he's a machine right? worse, i couldn't get hold of those human softbank operator. so i told husband to call the agent in softbank omotesando to confirm our plan. agent confirmed we have unlimited packets and double white plans.
my iphone is just 5 days old as of yesterday but it's now stuffed with all kinds of free downloadable apps. now i have karaoke, sudoku, google earth,jap translator and other more in my iphone. :D i only did that because i know we have unlimited plan for packets. hopefully that 85K is not true. i might never touch my phone again.

- i no longer heart AI. i very much dislike the new judge - kara dioguardi. everything she says is always tainted with negative thoughts. duh! say you don't like it if you don't, and say you like it if you like. don't add any of those buts. make a stand girl.
but last night i like paula. she talked a lot of sense! husband and i were thinking if last night she was on meds or out of meds -- making her very lucid and very sensible. what do you think, which one is it - no meds or on meds?

have you seen the slumdog millionaire?
i'd say it's worth watching if you haven't got the chance yet.

borrowing what jon stewart said about it --- it's the most depressing feel good movie --- might be the best way to describe it. the story narrates about hope, life and love in a game show setting, where in every game master's question, moments in jamal's (main character) life give him the correct answers.

well, i'm no good in making reviews so i will just share the part that i will always remember :-)

how big of a fan can you be? can you beat jamal?
