because i want it to be blue.
this is the answer of the leading lady in the korean movie, my sassy girl - which by the way is so much incomparable to the hollywood version. the latter just lack the flavor. i have watched this movie a dozen times perhaps, but still i always laugh and seldom cry (~.~)
but this entry is just not connected to my title so in case you really wanna know why the sky is blue, click here.
======================================================
anyway, today is one of those few times when i hate tokyo.
i usually love the fast-paced tokyo life, everybody is busy as a bee -- but today, it's completely different.
i was in ikebukuro station to take the train going to shinjuku ( where i will meet my friend, aya-san) and for a moment, i wanted to shout at everybody, why the hell you're all in a hurry!!!
it's not rush hour my dear friends... it's 1pm and supposedly it should be a dead hour.
everybody must be at work or in school or in business meetings, but it wasn't. the train station was so full of bustling people, zooming in and out my peripheral vision and the people behind me whom i couldn't see, kept on overtaking me! imagine, even the elders, they're rushing towards where the hell, i don't know. as much as i want to join the buzz, i couldn't walk any faster. i don't wanna stress myself yet (i was still so afraid that my cuts would open, laugh all you want ) - i need the doctor's permission first, at the least right?
so despite not being a rush hour, i wasn't able to sit from ikebukuro to shinjuku, luckily from nakano to mitaka, aya was fast enough to steal a seat for me from this ungentleman man ( very common japanese man - believe me). eventhough i still look preggy because of the bandage wrapped beneath my top, i could just keep on dreaming, but still no seat will be available for me.
so after hours of travelling and waiting i had my checkup. i guess it went well, aside from my shaky knees ( which is now my new hospital attitude). when my doctor checked on me, this attitude kicked in once more. the test results from some of the tissues they took from me were negative from anything malignant and she said i'm well and could return to my normal life. meaning work. unfortunately, vacation time is over... hehe... sometimes, or lately most of the time, i feel like not going back to work anymore...hehe.
after the checkup, onesan kurihara fetched us and we went to shinohara-san's house... to ransack again his veggie farm :D me and aya brought home a lot of kangkong, okra, saluyot, goya and nasu. all fresh. all pesticide-free. and all for free! after drinking some refreshments and eating the softest donut i have ever eaten, shinohara-san send us off to mitaka station.
and so it gooes... the bustling and ever busy tokyo life, is there to be hated again.
so now again, why is the sky blue?
